When i start the computer one fan goes to probably 100%, while the other completely stops. This happens also in BIOS.
When windows starts, both fan stops bc of 0 rpm mode, but when i disable that, again one fan goes 100% the other does nothing. I also cant controly fans manually, it does nothing, when i try to set it. When the one fan goes to 100% every monitoring software says that its 0 rpm.
I tried ddu 3 times, but i don't think its a software issue, because its happening in the bios, where software can't effect it.
And its not something with the gpu, because i sent back one to the seller thinking it was a gpu problem, he sent me a nother one, and the same happening. My previous card (rx 6600 xt) worked perfectly fine, so i dont know what is ther problem.
For reference its an Asus Dual rx 6700 xt oc. Thank you for any help, i tried to be as specific as possible.
Does it behave the same regardless of whether the BIOS switch is set to P or Q mode?
Do you have MSI Afterburner installed? If so, uninstall it then DDU and reinstall your drivers.
It behaves the same on both bios, and i do not have msi afterburner.
If I understood correctly when your power up the PC only one of the two GPU fans turns on?
During POST when it checks your GPU card both fans should turn on for a second because BIOS is checking the GPU Card.
IF that is the case you either have a bad GPU fan or GPU Fan controller.
Physically check the GPU Fan that doesn't work by turning it with your finger (Power off PC of course). It should turn without any resistance and easily spins several times with one push.
If you turn the fan that doesn't work with your finger quickly do you hear any type noises or scraping sounds?
Hello, when i start the computer both fan goes up, but the first fan only spins up a litle bit, and shuts down.
