I own an hp omen 17-ano12dx with a raedon rx580 gpu. Recently ive noticed that when i play games my gpu and memory clock as well as gpu voltage fluctuate greatly causing my fps to jump from 60 to 43 and bac again constantly. This only happens when connected to the charger. When running on battery things are perfect with a solid 60fps. please note that i am currently not using the laptops original charger and using a modified one with lower voltage. temperature readings while in game are also an average of 60 degrees celsius. both power settings are on high performance as well.
Can someon let me know whats going on with this? and if it is because of the charger?
