That one time I switched over to AMD and I kept getting crashes no matter what kind of game I play. Sometimes, it crashes to desktop. Most of the time, it freezes my PC then reboots (all these games are updated and all these products are new and bought together)
Specs:
- Ryzen 5 3600x
- MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC
- 8x2 Corsair Vengeance Vengeance Pro 3200mhz
- Seasonic M12 II Evo 750w
- Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB
- Gigabyte Aorus RX 5700 XT 8GB
- Seagate 2TB
When it restarts, Radeon notification pops-up and shows "Default Wattman settings have been restored due to an unexpected system failure"
In Radeon, I tried tuning the clock speed and voltage to the following settings:
Default (2064 mhz, 1200v)
1950 mhz, 1107v
1900 mhz, 1100v
All settings have Power Tuning to the max (50w).
No matter what kind of games I played, it always crash. Games I've played:
- Shadow of War
- Titanfall 2
- Skyrim
- League of Legends
- Final Fantasy 15
Any suggestions? I don't want to regret switching over to the red team. Never had this problem with Nvidia even if I overclocked their GPUs.
