Garbage Warranty

I purchased 2 RX6900XT cards the only way possible for most of us, on ebay.  One of them has failed.

AMD warranty is 100% garbage.  When it's impossible right now to buy direct from AMD unless you have a BOT, they are using this as an opportunity to screw us customers twice.  The warranty department couldn't care less.  They even implied the card wasn't originally from AMD but couldn't be bothered to verify that with the serial number until I specifically asked for that.

I was buying all AMD for the last few years, spending thousands and thousands on several systems CPU's and multiple GPU's.  Now, it's clear AMD is a garbage company who will not do anything to make things right for us lowly consumers.  My newer PC's may well start including Intel and Nvidia again.

If you purchased the RX6900XT on Ebay than most likely it came from a Scalper which means that AMD Warranty is automatically voided since the Scalper is the original owner and not you.

AMD Warranty is not transferable to a second owner this is also fairly standard for most 3rd Party Warranties.

I suggest you go through the Ebay Retailer about getting Warranty service or where to get Warranty service on the GPU card.

I saw that Ebay sold Powercolor and Sapphire RX6900XT. If that is one of the GPU Cards your purchased then you must go through Powercolor or Sapphire Support to get Warranty on it.

AMD Warranty only applies to GPU cards purchased from AMD Store directly.

Here is AMD Warranty concerning 3rd party GPU card purchased from Non-AMD Store Retailer: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/warranty-information/consumer-graphics-step2b

And here is Nvidia's warranty:

No Different.

INTEL:
