AC Odyssey, BF5,BF1,Sniper Elite 4, and X-Plane 11. Would freeze, sound still going, and need to do a hard reset to use it again. I have 5700xt GPU 7 3700x CPU. I did memory windows diagnostic and it tested okay. Reinstalled the drivers and still doing the same.

I have the same problem with Sniper elite 4 and I have the same GPU and CPU you do!

I've been seeing a lot of First Person Shooter and SIM titles all having issues on PC.

The systems builds have varied greatly.

Try Command Prompt as admin sfc /scannow to check OS for errors

Run DXDIAG to check display and audio driver integrity.

Check the games local files for integrity issues.

If you're playing through a gaming Platform like Steam deleting the Steam Games Update Cache can solve a lot of game issues on the platform.

For the last 6 months every time I get a Steam Game Update its always missing files after a file integrity check and for some reason the only way to get Steam to repair/load the missing files is to delete the game update cache.

Try installing Latencymon to check your latency timing.
