I turned off all my amd graphics settings and noticed a small improvement but I still get really bad fps drops out of nowhere even on lowest settings. The drops are from 60 fps to 20 fps. turning on or off vsync doesn't help Any help is greatly appreciated
Specs:

Intel i7 7th gen
12 gb ddr4
windows 10
Same card playing destiny on high, solid 60fps expect in the tower and titan optimization is lowered since bungie split with activision
What temperature does your graphics card show when you are having the drop in FPS?
If you open up radeon software, go to advisors select the game and then open up the graphs and recommendations tab how do your frame times look. Post a screen shot please.
and 12Gb RAM?
Also yes it is 12 gb of ram and the issue starts anywhere from 85-90 degrees C. I am on a laptop aswell
This is after a few matches
Looks like thermal throttling.
Try blowing out all the vents in the case to make sure it's getting enough air.
If your usually gaming at home it might be worth looking into a cooling pad for the laptop.
