Found Fix for RX 7900 XTX using 2 DisplayPort on 2 monitors.

Problem:

Two DisplayPort not working when using both DisplayPort simultaneously. Screen lags on monitors and second DisplayPort fails to black screen.

Had to use only 1 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI to use 2 monitors.

I want to use 2 DisplayPort because DisplayPort shows better text than HDMI.

Fix is:

Before powering on, take out the second DisplayPort cable.

Power on, wait until Windows start.

Plug in the second DisplayPort cable.

Both monitors work fine on 2 DisplayPort!

I have

Sapphire NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Gaming OC VAPOR-X Graphics Card

Two identical monitors

Glad you found a fix, although it sounds like you must do the monitor cable disconnect / reconnect each time you reboot the computer.  I suggest you try a high quality HDMI cable for one monitor to see if it will boot on two monitors without the cable pull.

Maybe this problem is only for Sapphire NITRO+ which has 2 DisplayPort and 2 HDMI and with my monitors.

It was a problem since 2023 and I'm happy to found a working fix finally.

Yes I need to disconnect and reconnect DisplayPort cable each time I power on.

Before this fix, I used HDMI v1.4 cable (High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet) for second monitor, which worked fine when powering on while connected.

I just tried something new: Second monitor using DisplayPort and with HDMI cable (no signal) also plugged in, and it worked when powering on while already connected.

Maybe it's a fluke, but if it's doesn't work, I can always do reconnect method.
