I just upgraded my gaming unit with a Radeon RX580. When I try to launch Fornite, the screen goes blank before it gets to the lobby, but the computer continues to run. I have to do a hard reboot to get back to Windows 10. I've searched various community posts and have done the following:
- Updated BIOS firmware to the latest version 5404
- Re-Installed Windows 10 (Downloaded latest OS updates)
- Installed Adrenalin 24.3.1
- I tried other versions, but had the same issue. I used DDU to uninstall previous versions.
- Made sure the integrated graphics driver was not in conflict with RX580.
- Installed Fornite after I've done the above items.
I've seen lots of similar posts and have tried to do their suggested solutions, but with no luck.
Please help! Any suggestions on a fix would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
P.S. Fornite works fine when I switch back to the integrated graphics card (i.e. plugging the HDMI cable from RX580 to the integrated HDMI port on the motherboard).
Machine Setup:
- ASUS ROG STRIX 470-I Motherboard
- 600W PSU
- 16gb RAM
- Ryzen 5 2400G
- RX580 8gb GPU
- Windows 10
