EDIT: Fixed it by rolling back to 24.8.1 drivers. Seems like the issue is AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2, as rolling back to 24.9.1 didn't work and that's the version that introduced FMF2.
Hello. I'm having this really annoying issue ever since I updated my RX 6600 drivers to 24.10.1, where anytime I scrub through video clips on, for example, VLC Media Player or the default Photos app on Windows, the video starts jittering like crazy. This happens regardless of the method used to record my screen, be it AMD Software Adrenalin Edition's default recording tool or OBS Studio. Not to mention that whenever I open a clip, it shows nothing for about two seconds; afterwards, the video plays but jitters at random when not scrubbing through it. Here's an example:
Trying to fix this using editing software like Premiere Pro is impossible; the clip jitters at random times and trying to remove the repeated frames just makes other frames repeat themselves at random. In my case, Premiere also leaves an error message saying "frame substitution recursion attempt aborting after multiple attempts on file". I haven't enabled any setting that strays from the defaults, nor have I enabled anything that might mess with frame generation like Fluid Motion Frames 2. I know other people with 6000 series graphics cards having the same issue, regardless of their processor of choice or amount or RAM, but so far we haven't been able to fix this. As far as I'm aware, this doesn't happen to 7000 series graphics cards.
