Eyefinity Failure

I tried to do 'multiple monitors' (2), on the XFX RX 6700 XT, but "EyeFinity" was a dismal failure.  It booted into the little dinky monitor (An old Acer), it would not boot into the new ASUS ProArt monitor.  Nothing I do can ever get this set properly!  I'm very, very disappointed with AMD graphics cards!

I tried changing cables.  I bought a new monitor for the second one.  I changed to HDMI, then back to DP.  It's actually worse now!  Is there an older driver that would work better?  The graphics card either picks up the large monitor on the DP, or it picks up the little one on the HDMI, but not both!  It either works on one or the other.  The native windows system is what worked for a day or so over the weekend.  Worse now!
