According to amdmatt the RX400 series uses DP++ in the reference editions, so the RX500 series should be as well, they are the same cards just with higher clocks. You need to contact the manufacturer of the card (Sapphire, XFX, etc...) to ensure they are still using DP++ and not something cheaper in their non-reference cards.
