Does the "ancient" Radeon HD 4290 IGP support the (W)QHD resolution of 3440x1440?

I'm thinking about acquiring such monitor, but cannot find this info anywhere.

Asus has this motherboard with that iGPU and it shows the same Max Resolution as the other website: M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 | Motherboards | ASUS Global

But the best way to verify the above information is by opening an Online AMD Service Request (Official AMD SUPPORT) from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form

This Tech site shows the Maximum Resolution for that iGPU: http://www.gpuzoo.com/GPU-ATI/Radeon_HD_4290_IGP.html

Thanks.

I've already seen that info on that site. On the first glance it would seem that the GPU is not capable of supporting more than 2560 pixels horizontally which would end my hopes, but I wanted to be sure. Should I interpret it so?

I was kind of hoping to see all of the supported resolutions in some archived doc on this site, yet that seems impossible. Perhaps that's not necessary if that previous info says it all.

Thanks a lot for that extra effort. Appreciated.

I think that the HDMI max. resolution from your screenshot says it all since that would be the desired connection. Seems there's no need for an "SR" for which, to be honest, I couldn't find location on this site. So thanks for that as well.

Sadly, this triggers the whole chain of upgrade which I hoped was avoidable (even with 9+ years old hardware). :-( Got no one to blame except the technology itself. :-)

Cheers,

Igor
