I using Nvidia 900 series and was thinking about upgrading to AMD Radeon 5500 series since my PSU can support it but after looking at the setting in the AMD control panel I notice there is no ignore film grain in the control for games when you turn on images sharpening + GPU scaling
So let just say I turn the sharpness to 100% would that create film grain in game-like R6S for example as it did with Nvidia the effect is very clear grain. In Nvidia, I had to enable ignore film grain to 100% to remove this effect, the result I am very happy with however I don't see this option in AMD and I want to buy a "bigger" GPU for the future.
