I have a Radeon RX Vega 56 8 GB and have two questions about it, which may be more 'graphics cards in general' than unique to this card.
1. This has four ports on it; three DisplayPort and one HDMI. Is there any difference between these, or are they grouped in any way? For example on my Mac mini, the four thunderbolt 3 ports are actually two pairs on two buses, so I know to distribute my data load across the two busses. Is there such a thing on a graphics card?
2. I don't know if it's the port, or just a maxing-out of the power, but it seems like if I connect three displays (two on DP and one on HDMI), as soon as that third (HDMI) display gets connected, I see stuttering in the graphics — even something as simple as dragging a window across the screen. All displays are 4K, running at either 4K or "looks like" scaled 4K. Am I asking two much from the card (I mean, it has four ports), or is it because one is HDMI, or is something else amis?
Thanks
