Hi Everyone,
I've recently bought a gaming PC with the following spec;
Radeon Software Version - 19.9.1
Radeon Software Edition - Adrenalin 2019
Graphics Chipset - Radeon RX 580 Series
Memory Size - 8192 MB
Memory Type - GDDR5
Core Clock - 1370 MHz
Windows Version - Windows 10 (64 bit)
System Memory - 32 GB
CPU Type - AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor
All drivers are updated and after replacing an initial faulty memory module, everything has been running fine apart from when trying to play Destiny 2 during which, it crashes every single time. It can be anywhere between five and thirty minutes but it crashes every single time. When it crashes, the screen freezes, the whole system shuts down then loses power although the PC seems to be running in some kind of hibernation mode although I have to hold down the power button to turn it off. I can then turn it back on as normal restart Destiny, then it crashes mid-game again!
I'm really not that technical so am kinda fumbling my way through this and the support team from the place I bought the PC are saying it's not the hardware they've supplied as the PC is working when playing WoW and a few other games... so here I am.
I've read some problems with this particular graphics card although there seem to be positive and negative reports for every graphics card out there so again, I'm a little lost.
I've attached a copy of my DxDiag report in case that helps too.
Can anyone offer advice? (ideally in simplistic terminology!)
Thank you in advance!
