Myself and many others are experiencing poor performance on AMD 7000 Series GPUs in DayZ. Mainly FPS dips. My FPS is fluctuating between sub 100 FPS to over 200. Up/down constantly, very unstable. I tried the usual lowering quality to increase and stabilize FPS, but this just makes it worse. If I lower the quality, I will aversge around 140 FPS, but then the Watts increase on the GPU seemingly at random from 200w, to almost 400w, while this happens I get over 300fps.. Would be nice if it just held at 400w and kept me at 300 FPS, very strange. I must note, that my 3080ti held strong at a stable 165 FPS at almost max settings. My 7900xtx is obviously much more powerful, so I hope there might be a fix in the works.
Thanks,
Jon.
I have the same issue, 7900xtx and my sons 6600xt outperforms it in DayZ. The 6600xt often looks better graphically in many games too.
I have the same problem only with the rx 7800xt in the Dayz game, the speed is from 50 to 150 in houses, everything is unstable, and the textures are pixelated further than 50 meters, which looks very unpleasant
Hi there
Use drivers 23.10.x and force game to run in DX9 as a temporary solution.
And won't it be better on the 24th version of the driver in dx9?
