Crossfire AMD Radeon 5700 with AMD Radeon 5700xt

I want to crossfire my AMD Radeon 5700 with an AMD Radeon 5700xt.

Here is the current video card that I have MSI Radeon RX 5700 DirectX 12 RX 5700 MECH OC Video Card - Newegg.com

And here is the video card I want to crossfire with PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT DirectX 12 AXRX 5700 XT 8GBD6-3DH Video Card - Newegg.com

This is my motherboard GIGABYTE Z490 VISION D LGA 1200 Intel Z490 ATX Motherboard with Triple M.2, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.2 Gen ...

Is it possible to crossfire the 2 video cards mentioned on my motherboard?

 AMD's official statement:

So the answer is technically yes assuming you are playing a DirectX 12 or Vulkan game which supports multiple GPUs, of which there are fewer and fewer, but no if you are using OpenGL or DirectX 9-12.

CFX is dead, AMD has abandoned it some 2-3 years ago now
