Can I dual output a signal from my RX 480 to provide AV to a TV and sound to an AV unit

Desktop PC - Overclockers Custom Build

GPU: 8192MB ATI Radeon RX 480 Graphics

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz Oc to 4GHz

Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z77X-UD3H

RAM: 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)

PSU: 850W

Operating System & Version: Windows 7

GPU Drivers: 19.1.1

I am trying to hook up my PC to both my HDMI TV (No ARC as it's an older model) and my Onkyo HT-R380 AV unit. What I would like is to duplicate the sound so my TV and AV bother receive the same signal (So I can watch TV and then turn the AV on for a movie).

To this end I have tried all sorts of connections: - HDMI Splitters; - Trying to pass through the av receiver; - Trying to use a DisplayPort to HDMI and run the HDMI to the TV and DP to the AV; and - Trying to use the optical on the sound card.

None of this has worked. It worked before when I ran an optical cable from the TV back to AV unit and used HDMI for the PC to the TV but, alas, the optical port has broken on the TV. I do nave an ASUS Xonar DG wich does have optical out but I can't seem to get that to work either.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks
