Hi dear community. I have a little big problem.
I have Amilo M1451G series Fujitsu Siemens (there is a ATI Mobility Radeon x300 GPU) - BUT i have installed windows 7...
As i searched for drivers i could not find driver for win7 - as i learned later that gpu was made only for winXP/Vista...
So i downloaded only inf files from Microsoft and updated through Device manager...
Now that mine problem - i can not instal any kind of CCC or anything ( CCC is not even shown in install setup )...
Most of them are saying that i have incompatible build...
Please can anyone help me with this issue?
Maybe point me to some modded drivers or anything?
About install/uninstall/purging old files - i already did everything what cen be found on internet...
Thanks in advance for any tips / tricks...
AMD doesn't have any updated drivers for Windows 7 or above for your legacy GPU: ATI Radeon™ X3xx Series Drivers & Support | AMD
The closest is Windows Vista x64.
Fujitsu Support for your laptop doesn't have any Windows 7 drivers. Only for Windows XP: Fujitsu Technical Support pages from Fujitsu Fujitsu Continental Europe, Middle East, Africa & India
According to Fujitsu Support your Laptop doesn't support Windows 7:
I attached the above PDF file downloaded from Fujitsu so you can download it from this post to see for yourself.
I thank you for your effort but all of this i have looked...
So you suggest that i should remove win7 and install back WinXP so i have a full support?
Again my deep thanks
According to Fujitsu Support your laptop is not compatible with Windows 7. It probably doesn't have the minimum requirements to run Windows 7.
It is probably best to install the original Windows version it came with. Also I would suggest to open a Fujitsu Support ticket and find out what latest version of Windows your laptop can be updated to.
Thank you very much.
Just for info i AM running win7 atm with no problems ( a little slow but that is because 1GB ram and sigle core CPU )...
Had a little trouble installing windows because of non-functional CD-drive and from USB it is a pain...
Anyway i thank you for clearing this case for me...
Have a good day
same to you. But the problem you are going to have is finding Windows 7 drivers for basically obsolete hardware like your GPU.
Here are the requirements for Windows 7. Seems like your laptop may meet the requirements:
1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor*
1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

By the way, Are you aware that in January 2020, Windows 7 will be Non-supported by Microsoft with Windows updates anymore. In another words, Windows 7 will become obsolete.
It is best to just save your money and purchase a computer with Windows 10 on it if it is within your budget. Otherwise your computer will be unprotected after January 2020 using Windows 7.
I did not knew about end of support for win7. Well i should know because of
win10. Anyway the main reason i was asking about drivers for this GPU was
that i wanted to play Fallout 3 because i can launch Oblivion just fine,
but i learned that it needs PS/VS 3.0 and this GPU dont support that...
Better to start saving money :-D . Once more thank you for you time and
patience.
