Can a Pylon 450W PSU handle a Sapphire RX 480 8GB?

CPU: Intel Core i5-10400
GPU: Intel UHD 630 (current)
SSD: Netac N530S SATA 256 GB and Team Group MP33 1 TB M.2
PSU: XPG Pylon 450W

So I don't have a dGPU and I really want one. A friend of mines is willing to give me a Sapphire Nitro RX 480 8GB OC as long as it still works. It's a used one and I plan to use it temporarily until I get a RX6600.

So, can a 450W PSU handle it, with a i5-10400? Asking because checking the image of the GPU box it says it needs at least a 500W PSU, but mines is a 450W one...

Hi, RX480 power requirements are a bit blurry around the board, some don't really require much power and others like the RoG STRIX RX480 will only be happy with a 650Watt minimum!

I would at least fulfil the minimum requirements of the manufacturer.

Good Luck

Assuming your PSU is decent quality it should be fine. The i5 10400 is a relatively low power CPU. That said, don't do any over clocking.
