Heya,
I've purchased a 5700 XT around three years ago. Up to this day, I have constant driver crashes during usage and coil whining/interference. Was naive enough to hope the issues will be fixed with drivers back then, then sat out my guarantee, I guess. All of this is bad, but it got REALLY bad today:
I'm a Sound Designer and composer and my old Audio Interface broke down. Got a new one, a Motu M-2. It seems, however, that the GPU kills the interface completely once any scrolling/activity on the screen happens. It starts with some dropouts when scrolling, and eventually a complete crash of the interface.
Funny enough, I started a thread with crackling issues way back in 2020 after getting the 5700XT, and someone else commented of having the same problem: https://forum.image-line.com/viewtopic.php?p=1542354#p1542354
The audio interface developer as well as the DAW developer (related to crackling) all say it specifically is a GPU/driver issue and AMD are the only ones who can fix it.
Do you see or know of any solution at all?
Thank you!
