Hi Guys & Gals,
I have recently had issues with my display go off for maybe a second and come back on for no apparent reason. I have all the drivers updated including BIOS and Win 10 Pro. The Event id: 4101 comes up with a the following description "Display driver amdmdag stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
This has occurred a few times in the past few days out of no where, and I was wonder if someone else with the same or similar system which I listed below (built by myself August 2020) has run into this issue as well and may have some insight or solution for this irritating problem.
System as follows:
Asus Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) - mobo
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 4.6GHz - cpu
Corsair Vengeance RGB P AMD DDR4 3200MHz 32G (16G X 2) - ram
Seagate Firecuda 520 PCIe g4 SSD 1TB - M.2 SSD stick
Asus Radeon RX 5500XT STRIX 08G Gaming 8GB PCI-E - graphics card
