Are Displayport outputs genlocked?

I need two genlocked outputs from a single video card.  Can anyone tell me on which, if any, AMD cards the outputs will be genlocked?

Googling suggests "genlocked" can mean synched to an external source.  I don't need that, I just want the two outputs to be synchronised to each other, "frame-locked".

And if its relevant I can use the card under either Linux or Windows and the graphics will be generated using OpenGL.

I think you are misunderstanding the concept of FL/GL. You should explain your problem or say what you are trying to do, then I might be able to help you.

I want the buffer to flip simultaneously on two monitors, each one connected to the a different DisplayPort on the same card.

And this doesn't work?

FL/GL is only used:

  • When external sources are involved
  • When multiple GPUs are installed in one system
  • To sync GPUs from two different systems

Outputs from one GPU are always synched

Ok, thanks.

VGA outputs from the same GPU did not used to be synched so that's a welcome change.

VGA is analog and history
