AMD Vega RX 8

I recently bought a Ryzen 7 7730U Laptop which I guess have the new vega rx 8, Can you please explain why such good cpu was paired with such an old and underperforming gpu which reaches 100 percent performance before the cpu even reaches 40 percent with not even half the shared memory of 8 gb being utilised? I could have bought a better combination at that price point but now I am unable to understand a 80 fps on a ryzen 7. Even some ryzen 3 paired with great gpu's can give me that.

Radeon Vega graphics are not new, they came at the tail end of GCN in 2018, although the Vega 8 IGP in the 7730U processor does have increased clock speeds compared to earlier versions. For an APU with integrated graphics the performance is decent. It still outperforms most Intel APU chips and is much cheaper than a gaming laptop with a discrete graphics solution.

The new 8000 series mobile processors feature RDNA 3 graphics and should offer much better performance.
