My parents bought me a PC for Christmas to hastily replace my old, breaking one. It came with a Radeon RX 560 graphics card. However, I've been having some problems. There are lag/freeze spikes every once and a while. For an example, here's what happens when they happen in Team Fortress 2 -
Every character in the game stops moving
The voice chat I hear from other players is cut off
I can not move or do anything for 6-15 seconds
This is really frustrating and it's happening in other games too. I don't know what's causing this - this is a fresh computer. I was able to dismiss this at first, but it started to get really frustrating after I kept having unfortunate deaths and losses in games due to these "freeze spikes."
Please help, I didn't buy a new PC just to have problems with it off the bat.
