AMD Radeon Pro W5700

I use AMD Radeon Pro W5700 in EGPU with Mac Mini Intel computers and it works perfectly for me. I bought another AMD Radeon Pro W5700 card, but this one came packaged by HP as a card for their workstation. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with my Mac, but it works normally with a PC/Windows computer (also in EGPU). I'm wondering what I can do to make this card work properly with Mac OS

just guessing but maybe HP modified the W5700 vBIOS . See if installing the original AMD Radeon Pro W5700 vBIOS helps any otherwise AMD Forum's Moderator for Pro GU cards might be of assistance to you @fsadough

NOTE: Make sure your MACOS supports natively the W5700 GPU card unless you are using Windows Boot camp on your Mac PC.

EDIT: It would be helpful to know the Make & Model of the eGPU that you are using and MacOS version installed.

I can provide the original retail VBIOS. However, flashing the VBIOS is at your own responsibility. If anything goes wrong, you won't be entitle to RMA the GPU in any form. If you give me your consent, I can provide you with the original VBIOS of W5700 retail board. In addition I need the VBIOS part number of your working W5700 in the EGPU.

I sent photos with details of these GPUs, the HP one does not work with Mac.in addition to a different bios, there is also a different device id, doesn't that mean that the mac doesn't see this card?

bios part id (hp version) 113-D1880502-101

I cannot tell why MAC does not see W5700 HP board. You can certainly check with MAC. Do you have the bios part id of the retail W5700?
