I was wondering on that card, even supported on Windows 10, is not showing in task manager but detected by CPU-Z and Device Manager, so only the display works.
I'm using the Crimson Beta software of this card.
If there's something else I need to do, just tell me.
I will wait for the responses, thank you.
You could try running your programs that need the GPU in compatibility mode for window 7 8 or VIsta.
I don't know if it will make a difference in your experience but it couldn't hurt to try.
Thanks for your suggestions.
That card is considered Legacy...meaning no more updates. The last available driver is from 2016 (15.71) > https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/amd-radeon-hd-7000-series/amd-radeon-hd-7450
If you are using this driver for Windows 10 you must prevent Windows Update from changing it. Do that first, then install the correct driver.

Then assign the high performance graphics (HD7450) to the game or application...that is done through the Settings / System / Display...scroll down to Graphics.
I had to do a regedit to stop Windows 10 update from overwriting my AMD GPU drivers.
1 month now with windows updates active and it no trouble from Microsoft yet.
