I just updated my PC with a Ryzen 5 5600G APU and a ASUS TUF B550m motherboard. All is well using the two graphics ports (HDMI and DP) on the motherboard. I wonder though if I could connect an additional 1920 x 1080 monitor somehow for consulting documents, viewing web pages, etc. None of this would be for intensive gaming.
Can anyone suggest an effective and relatively inexpensive way of doing this? Are there any PCI cards that would simple add a port that would allow me to access the integrated graphics. Could I turn on multiple monitors in the bios and install a separate basic GPU to use along with the onboard graphics? How would these ideas compare to getting a DP MST HUB (which seems like a more expensive option)?
Thanks,
Maurice
