AMD Freesync on TCL TV 55Q750G

Hello all,

Just bought a new TCL TV that claims to support AMD Freesync but Adrenaline is saying it's not supported. Using Windows 11, a good HDMI cable, etc.

This is what TCL advertises https://www.tcl.com/in/en/blog/how-does-the-game-master-enhance-your-gaming-experience-

Ok, this might boils into a compatibility issue, but let me explain some parameters.

For FreeSync to work, the TV's hardware needs to support variable refresh rates. Not all TVs have the necessary hardware components to take advantage of this technology.

FreeSync over HDMI requires HDMI 2.1 support on both the graphics card and the TV. HDMI 2.1 supports features like variable refresh rates (VRR), which is the foundation of FreeSync on TVs.

The TV needs to have the necessary firmware and software updates to enable FreeSync support. Additionally, the graphics card drivers on your PC should also support FreeSync over HDMI.

Even if both your TV and graphics card support FreeSync, there can be compatibility issues. Sometimes, the technology might work better with certain graphics cards or TVs, and not all combinations will provide a seamless experience.

The best thing I can do is to forward the issue to our Engineer, to get the more accurate answer would that be ok?
