Gentleman, I'm here to learn. Simple question: Is it appropriate for me to run Adrenaline 2020 software for my RX 5700 XT?
a. Is it possible to run Adrenaline 2020 without having to manually configure/create a profile?
b. Is it possible to run Adrenaline 2020 without having to become an expert at setting voltages, fan, MHz?
c. When people provide their manual setting details, no two are the same?
d. Does a safe (general) profile exist for Adrenaline 2020 for download?
e. In your opinion, why does this software result in unstable card performance?
d. Should all Radeon owners resign to the fact, RX cards are not plug and play?
I'd like to request my situation be professionally reviewed by a Top Author.
There is an explosion of 5k-series and now 6k-series cards all having performance/stability issues related to Adrenaline.

Card working great?! (e.g. Well, it's what I've termed as brokefixed - It's the best so far with minimal black screens, stutter, crash - but still occurs regularly)
...stayed up long enough for me to make this post! Making progress (4 days, 16hrs. troubleshooting and manually configuring)
Not going into all the manual undervolting or automatic undervolting attempts/tests.

Describe your system:
AMD Graphics Card Make & Model
Radeon RX 5700 XT
vBIOS 017.001.000.042
Desktop or Laptop System
Desktop, Antec P10 Flux
Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64bit Build 19042.804
Driver version installed
NO Radeon Software Installed - Default Windows Driver 20.10.35.02
Display Make and model and connection/adapter in use, resolution, and refresh rate.
LG 34WN80C-B 34 Inch 21:9 UltraWide 3440x1440 @60Hz to HDMI
CPU/APU Make and model number
Ryzen 5 5600X
Motherboard Make & Model + Bios Revision
Asus TUF X570-Pro BIOS 3405
Power Supply Unit Make & Model + Wattage
Antec HCG Extreme 850W
System Memory Make & Model + Frequency
G.Skill F4-2133 C15-8GFT 4x8GB
Describe your issue:
Using recommended Adrenaline 20.11.02, system reboots automatically, high fan RPM, WattMan crashes, notofications
Blizzard Launcher, Starcraft II
Default Adrenaline configuration
The above behavior is consistent accross all 2020 and 2019 versions back to 19.08.01.
Using suggested manual config, issue gets 'better' but just delays inevitable Windows crash/black screen, Adrenaline WattMan crash, frozen screen
SOLUTION:
I was seriously hoping we could troubleshoot or create a standard profile.
I was also thinking the answer to the simple question was - of course it's appropriate to use 2020 software.
My solution, was to uninstall ALL Adrenaline software completely and simply use the default 20.10.35.02 driver Windows installs. It is the only driver that runs with minimal black screens, has no fan/temp issues.
Obviously this is a 2020 version - but when software is added, the card is unusable.
The MO for this forum is:
1. Question the build
2. Install some other version
3. Unplug and replug
4. Turn it off and Back on again
5. RMA or Sell on eBay
Going forward, I'll do my part to watch for each new version release with hope things will stabilize. 21.2.3 is out, getting excited ;).
Below staple support docs need refreshed, new draft.
