Absurd RPM

Hello, Natascha here. I inherited my brother's computer, but it is too noisy. The computer specs are not bad for daily browsing, but the GPU cooler makes so much noise. I install speecy and speedfan to see the numbers and speedfan says it has 749652 RPM. I searched online and only found that 4800 RPM are super high. I don't know what to do, I already updated all drivers and energy configuration to not overtake 100%, please help. Sorry for my english, I am from Brazil.

If you install the AMD drivers, you should be able to find a setting that lets you manually control the fan speed.  If you're only using the computer for browsing and other light loads (graphically speaking), you can set the fan speed very low and leave it there safely.

usually if fans run full them its even set manual or you have high temps!

1. check your GPU and CPU Temps with HWiNFO
2. clean your GPU-Cooler and CPU-Cooler with compressed air spray (read how to use those spraycans)
3. check Temps again
4. check fan speeds in BIOS

PC: R7 2700X @PBO + RX 580 4G (1500MHz/2000MHz CL16) + 32G DDR4-3200CL14 + 144hz 1ms FS P + 75hz 1ms FS
Laptop: R5 2500U @30W + RX 560X (1400MHz/1500MHz) + 16G DDR4-2400CL16 + 120Hz 3ms FS

I have the same card and I gotta say its just a noisy card even at 25% fan speed. There are tons of these cards with terrible OEM coolers on them. His temps look fine in screenshot but thats at idle... I came here because I have the same absurd reading on my fan tachometer. GPU Shark reads normal fan speed percentage but the RPMs always stay the same (749,652 RPM)
