9070xt Steel legend crashing DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG in UE5 Games
Hello all!
I just recently bought an ASRock 9070xt Steel Legend and things were running smoothly for about a week. I ended up playing monster hunter wilds for 4 hours before it crashed, and with it every unreal engine 5 game I have in my library also crashed with the same error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG.
I've tried just about every fix i've seen online, while also making sure to revert back to default settings after a fix didn't work.
A list of things I've tried:
DDU tool to uninstall and reinstall drivers
Clean install of driver only
Ensuring all connections on gpu and pc are proper
swapping out PSU, PSU cables, (Yes I made sure to use PCI-E 8 pins)
reseating gpu
Undervolting, -500 mghz offset for gpu
forcing dx11
redownloading all games
installing windows updates, reverting to older versions of windows
disabling xmp
registry edit to fix TDR values
Monitored temps, edited fan curves (temps never spiked higher than 70C on load)
Tested other non UE5 games (Rust max settings ultra ran smoothly)
