7900XTX hotspot temp 20 degrees higher than gpu temp

My 7900xtx is running well except that the hotspot temp is around 85 degrees under full load while the gpu temp is reading mid 60s. Is this a normal temperature discrepancy? 

Another issue I've been facing is the Adrenaline software changing back to default tuning settings every time I boot the system. It doesn't matter what I change or which setting I use. Adrenaline will reset to default every boot saying it was due to an unexpected system failure that didn't happen.

Any input is appreciated.

Yes, the temp. diff is normal.

Can't help with the other as i don't use the tuning.

Thanks for the reply. 

I've also noticed the card, an Asus TUF 7900XTX OC, is not being detected by Asus' Armory Crate software and GPU Tweak 3 detects the card but doesn't display any of the card clocks or settings.

I'm not sure what the issue is with this.
