My display, an HP Z27k G3, is no longer working on the USB-C input from my AMD 7900 XTX. The display works fine HDMI and DP, but USB-C does not. It _detects_ that a display is attached and provides the information in the Adrenaline software and Windows show the information, but there are no settings or configurations that change the result.
When a USB-C cable is connected to the display, it'll recognize, display nothing, but every few seconds the computer will "hang" for a second like it's trying to do something about the display.
I've reset the monitor, tried the HP troubleshooting steps and (garbage) software to check if there are updates. I've uninstalled/reinstalled/updated the AMD drivers, as well. All other methods of input on the monitor work as expected without issues. I'm unsure of what troubleshooting steps I should take next?
I don't know if it's an AMD driver issue with the USB display (Adrenaline shows "display port" on the information in the app) or a driver issue with the monitor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
