7900 xtx not detected.

Today I bought a 7900 XTX, and for the last 5 hours I've been trying to get it to work with no success.

- No indicator lights, Did have a red light on power cable, but alternative cable cleared it.

- 3x 6+2 PCIE cables plugged into it and PSU. Have swapped them a few times.

- Have reseated it multiple times.

- Tested on 2 computers. (Though same PSU)

- Have run DDU to clear out old NVIDIA drivers.

- Confirmed 1660ti still works in slot.

- Have updated BIOS.

- RGB is on, but only that. No fan spin.

- Tried second pcie slot.

Can't install drivers because it does not detect AMD hardware.

Some other stats,

Asus ROG 1000 Watt PSU.

Asus ROG z690e board.

Intel i9 13900.

Other than returning it, I've ran out of ideas and can't find any solutions online, including these forums, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Enough info was given.

That card was a dud, got it replaced.
Got a card that works, but the AMD drivers are trash and crash constantly, had to reboot 3 times in the last 10 mins, and now have to reinstall the driver, again.

LPT - Save yourself the trouble and buy Nvidia.
I wish I did.
