7900 XTX Fan Speed Locked
Hi...
My fan speeds are locked at approx 1100 rpm and consquently once I start to play any games, the temps rocket.
I used to DDU to delete any Nvidia files and folders on my system and there are none left over.
I had been using Fan Control to regulate all the fans in my rig and this worked well with Nvidia.
BIOS Fan control all seems to be normal.
Any suggestions would be welcome?

All seems to sorted itself out now. Deleted not only Fan Control, but also MSI. Now the GPU fan ramps up as it should.
Thank you for your inputs guys...

So if I understand correctly your fans don't go past 1100 rpm when doing heavy duty like playing games.
Can you elaborate what you mean by the sky rocketing temps, what numbers are we talking about?

Temps were averaging 65 C, they are now in the mid to high 90's.

Last i read 'Fan Control' does not work with newer AMD cards (check on github).
It is possible any hooks from the app to card could cause issues?
