Hi,

I really hope someone from AMD is reading this.

I have a 7900 XTX, an awesome card, powerfully and in my model, good thermal and acoustic performance. But I decided to put in my water-cooling loop. And bom, hotspot from 85c to 110c with waterblock. GPU edge temp. maxes out at 55c, ddr6 at 52c so very good. 

The problem is combination of XFX merc 310 model that is not using X retention bracket on the back of the PCB and alphacool waterblock that was designed with X bracket in mind. 

Result is PCB a bit bent by the GPU as mounting screws push PCB on to waterblock. X retention bracket would prevent that. 

So if somone from AMD will read this, please let me (and probably a few other people) buy X retention bracket for 7900 XT/XTX. I'm sure there is a box full of those X retention brackets somewhere but I just can't get to it. 

At this point I spend good few weeks looking for it online with no luck. No luck with buying only cooler or broken card either.

Google "heavy gpu brace". There appears to be many alternatives to support GPUs. Some are stands and others are brackets which go in expansion slots below gpu.

Ah ok, I misunderstood. When you talked about weight of gpu i assumed it was supporting bracket. Never mind
