So I recently moved from a NVIDIA 1080TI to the RX 7900 XT and so far I'm loving it. The only problem I've run into is that whenever I turn off the second monitor all my programs and windows are moved over to the primary monitor forcing me to constantly rearrange everything to how I like it. Since I never had this problem with any of my past NVidia cards I'm hoping it's just an option somewhere I'm missing that will restore that function. Has anyone figured this out?
At this point, I've tried swapping out my HDMI cables multiple times and have even tried changing which HDMI port on my 7900 I'm using but the problem continues. Also can't see anything in the settings that might cause this. As far as I can tell whenever I turn off the second monitor windows stops recognizing that there is a second monitor plugged in still and acts as if I'm only using one monitor.
