Having an issue where have 3 monitors (TWO 3440x1440 , ONE 2560x1440) and latest Adrenaline (for RX 7900).
When two displays are connected (3440 + 3440 or 2560 + 3440) Windows (11) sees the resolution correctly (6880 x 1440 or 6000 x 1440 respectively). Adding a 3rd however seems to force all displays to equal the lowest display (2560) x 3 , ie 7680 x 1440p instead of what should be 9440 x 1440p.
Previously having a 5700 XT I was able to have Eyefinity at 9440 x 1440 in 3 x 1 (3440 + 3440 + 2560 x 1440p).
Is this a limitation of the drivers or the 7000 series?

I am having basically the same issue. However nothing has changed for me PC wise.
6900XT
R9 5900X
34 UW with side 27s
Eyefinity used to work on this exact setup. Hadnt tried it a while and went to play ATS and its not working. Seeing other people with the same issues as well.
New driver no change.

Seems to be ither the 7900 appears to use the max reported resoluion of the lowest resolution display or is some sort of limitation / bug in early drivers. I recall almost the exact same behavior with 5700 GPU. Wasn't sure if was an issue with the GPU as not much has really been made available. (Don't feel like installing linux to check the repo)
I'm seeing the exact same issues. So far AMD e-mail support has not yielding anything more than basic troubleshooting.
Does anyone have any ideas or is this simply an AMD driver issue?
Hi everyone
playing 48:9 since 6 years (first with GTX 980SLI, then 1080ti, 6800XT mGPU and finally 7900XTX) at 5760x1080 (with bezel compensation => 5920x1080 and 5820x1080)
Since I have got my 7900xtx , driver probleme, can't play AoE4 without underclocking, BSOD (had to restore system)... and no more bezel compensation, eyefinity always add (6.4*30=192pixel) for each screen i have
4 monitors becomes 8448x1080, triple moniteur becomes 6336x1080 and double moniteur becomes 4224x1080 whatever wich value I use for bezel compensation...
tested with drivers : 22.12.1 - 22.12.2 - 23.1.1 - 23.1.2
Very very disappointed by AMD but what other choice do we have...
I believe what is happening is the drivers are using the native resolution of the lowest resolution monitor.
I was able to test and confirm that by replacing the 2560x1440p with a 3440x1440p monitor , the 7900XT/XTX see's the correct resolution (10,320 x 1440)
Confirmed with latest Drivers (23.2.1) that system is only allowing a base resolution of the lowest connected monitor.
Replaced the 2560x1440p with a 3440x1440p and now get 10,320 x 1440p (3 x 3440x1440) as opposed to the 7680 x 1440p (3x 2560 x 1440). If I instead connect a 1920x1080p monitor i only get 5760 x 1080p as max resolution.

Agreed, Ensure that you have the latest graphics drivers installed for your 7900 Adrenaline graphics card. You can download the latest drivers from the AMD website.
So it basically takes VSR and throws it out the window, when it comes to Eyefinity setup?
I do have exactly same problem, tried googling but found only pointless solutions. It always force my largest monitor to lowest res.
I have tried, with and without v-sync, with and without GPU Scaling, using eyefinity pro.exe directly, using hdmi, using 2 monitors only, using 3 monitor, eveytime is the same.
That's really sad, it fits perfectly my sim racing job to run this setup.
My setup:
Re-tested with the latest release (23.3.2) same results:
3440 + 2560 + 1920 = 5760 x 1080 (ie 1920 times 3 by 1080p) = NOT WORKING
3440 + 2560+ 3440 = 7680 x 1440 (ie, 2560 times 3 by 1440p) = NOT WORKING
3440 + 3440 + 3440 = 10,320 = WORKING

I am also getting this issue on 5700XT. It previously worked on 2022 drivers, however something seems to have changed with the 23 drivers.
AMD, please look into this.
Just bought 7800 xt and same problem. No mixed resolution support, no workaround. Absulutely unbelievable, if I will not be able to fix this I will have to bring the card back and looking for new monitors and Geforce
Same problem
Nah. I gave up.
I had a monthly conversation with them and in short they tell me this
"Fit feature is not supported starting RX 7000 series GPUs."
Which means we can all go f yourselfs with multiply monitors...
I'm dissapointed. Bye AMD
