Recently switched from a 3060ti to a 7800xt. When I’m doing normal task there are zero issues with stability. Playing a couple games like Fortnite , COD 3 I get random shutdowns. There’s been many complaints about this latest Fortnite update. So I’m not sure what it could be. All drivers are up to date. I’ve tried stress testing with Cinebench and futuremark. There’s no shutdowns. Does adrenaline settings cause conflicts that could create shutdowns? It’s not a heat issue my temps were in the mid 40s when it shut off each time. I never had shutdowns like this with the 3060ti. I am lost on what else to try at this point.
forgot to mention I have Corsair Rm850e PS. I spoke with a salesman at Microcenter mentioned I wanted a PSU strong enough for a 7900xtx they recommended an 850 watt
