Wondering if any one has seen any VR benchmarks at all for the new lineup of cards. My current 5700xt doesn't do too well with VR as I have to have the settings down pretty low just to avoid motion sickness. Hoping that the 6800xt or 6900xt will change that for me! Mostly playing DCS and Project Cars 2

I know this is a old topic but for anyone interested, here's a little VR comparison.

I managed to get a XFX branded 6900xt (reference) in late Dec I replaced my 1080ti, here are the differences using a 5600x CPU.....

VRMark Orange room scores.... 1080ti = 14116 ......... 6900xt = 15350

VRMark Cyan room scores.... 1080ti = 8001 .......... 6900xt = 20521

VRMark Blue room scores..... 1080ti = 2924 ........ 6900xt = 5875

OpenVR Benchmark ......... 1080ti = 46.93 fps ....... 6900xt = 58.77

I have no regrets getting this GPU, it blows to doors off my old 1080ti and work great with VR except for the two March 2021 drivers which seem to break VR badly, best driver to use with VR is the 21.2.3 driver.

I bought this GPU for VR only, I do sim racing and other VR titles, it's so nice to be able to up the eye candy in some titles, there are some badly optimized VR titles out there that even the 6900xt or the mighty 3090 can't perform well in. Just keep that in mind. 🙂
