6800 XT texture popping

Mainboard: MSI MAG B550 Tomahwk
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X (base clock)
GPU: RX 6800 XT (base clock)
RAM: 32GB HyperX Predator DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16

Game graphic settings: Highest

Hello all,

I honestly don't know if I'm just seeing a problem here that isn't one. I switched from an RTX 2070 to an RX 6800 XT. Somehow since then I feel like textures are loading too slowly (especially something in the distance). I've noticed this with many games, such as Witcher, New World, GTA V, etc.

I can rule out SSD. Using Witcher as an example, I also put it on an NVME once but same problem.

Now my question is, if I'm imagining this or if someone knows this. Strange is that I somehow notice this only since the 6800 XT. Unfortunately, I no longer have the RTX 2070 and can therefore not test it.

I experience it in all games...

EDIT: Timespy score is 17610 (https://www.3dmark.com/spy/23231037). And the performance is just fine. Its just these texture issue.

What I already did:

1) New Windows and DDU

2) Used different drivers

I have the same issue on a b550 MSI mortar board with 32 GB @3600 MHz (4000 G.Skill) and 6800XT. It is rare that the issue goes away and at times it becomes even more noticeable.

I had a previous system with Nvidia where the issue also was there if I recall correctly, but that was a different board and different components. Some have said in different forum posts that it might be the 4k resolution, but  it does not explain why it is intermittent or gone at certain times completely and also there for other people who use lower resolutions. I will try enabling reenabling SAM, but I doubt that is the issue. I was thinking maybe Chipset and GPU driver combo. When things start popping in front of you it starts looking weird.

You can try running benchmarking software to compare the performance of your RX 6800 XT with that of an RTX 2070, if you have access to one. This can help you determine if there is a noticeable difference in performance between the two graphics cards.

I played witcher 3 before next gen update and I did notice same thing with house textures. I played witcher 3 on hdd so I cant say would ssd fix it.

I played warzone caldera on both ssd and hdd, textures in distance did load faster when I aim with sniper but texture still did have little delay.

I think that is problem with games or lack of optimization maybe. I played horizon zero dawn recently and texture did not pop up and game is on hdd.

6700XT  Warzone 2 tree textures will pop up when I come close but some tree textures are fine. driver version 23.3.1.

It happens randomly and not with all games. Sometimes reinstalling drivers fixes it for a while.
