It looks like it's an old issue affecting multiple AMD cards but I'm not sure why it's not fixed yet, I did send a bug report. I hope others are doing it too.
Using the latest 838 build - tested the older 743 build but alas its crashing too. The game works fine with my old GTX 1080 ti.
Has anyone had this issue and was able to find a working workaround ?
Spoke too soon. It just takes longer for it to crash. Can't even finish the benchmark from the menu.
Fixed it:set \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Crystal Dynamics\Tomb Raider\Graphics\RenderAPI=11.I'm not sure why it needs this as it's already launching in DX11 mode, but hey, it's working now.
What are your full system specs including make/model power supply...?
EVGA G2 850w / AMD 5800X @ stock / Gigabyte B550 F15d / 2x16GB Trident Z 1600mhz
Windows 10 22h2
AMD Chipset drivers 4.09.23.507 (latest)
Adrenalin 22.10.2 (.3 crashes too often with Plex when entering or getting out of HDR on 4K movies)
I have no issues with God of War & Uncharted maxed w / FSR Quality (for now)
Hi! I have the same issue with the same game. I tried Epic Games version and also Steam version. I Have a RX 6500 XT, Core i5 11400, PCIe 4.0 MB, 16 Gb of 3200MHz RAM. Windows 10 22h2. Adrenalin 22.11.1. And it's very funny to know that I can play it with my Intel UHD Graphics 730, but with the graphic card not. What can we do?
Glad to see that I'm not the only one. Have you reported it using the bug report tool in Adrenalin ? I feel it's our only option to have this fixed.
