6750 XT Gigabyte OC unable to control cooling system behavior (always max fan speed)

Hello.

I was unable to find any way to control cooling system behavior on my 6750 XT Gigabyte OC using AMD Adrenalin. Manual fan curve doesn't work at all. Limiting max speed doesn't work.

Using presets like Quiet and Balanced does initially has some inpact on the speed but in the long run it will always max 3000rpm to maintain GPU at 65 degrees. I gather 65 is way low temp to max cooling system at that point.

UPD: as long as I have focus on Adrenaline window the controls work fine. When I switch out to the actuals game in this case New World the fans go full steam. Is this an Adrenaline issue? I doubt the game itself can control the cooling in any way.

And if I add a game profile for said New World the fans upon switching to the game will go way above 3000 rpm at the max its something around 4200. Is this an easter egg?

Game in q is New World. But I doubt it has anything to do with the game itself.
