My gpu crashed and after that gave me a no signal
I replugged the gpu and it worked now its running but
temps are abnormaly high 85°c 90°c hot spot even in less demanding games with 100% fan speed with open case
Before it wouldnt exceed 67°c 75°c hotspot at 65% fan speed
However vrm and memory temps are normal 60°c and 70°c respectively
Last night i just updated Pubg (no driver or win10 updates, Radeon 21.6.1)
Now my ingame Hotspottemp rises up to:
-> 92°C @ Auto-OC-ctrl = standard
-> 104°C @ low OC (1780 mhz vram, 1990mhz gpu@1155mV & max powerlimit 25%)
-> 108°C @ my Standard OC (1816 mhz vram, 2080mhz gpu@1166mV & max pwr 40%) <-- before the update everything running smooth at max +- 82°C for weeks now
@smoozable : wich radeon version is installed at your system? did you change any driver/software or win10 version?
@ALL:
1. Is it possible, that just a Gameupdate could be the reason?????
2. At Discord some people complaining about the 21.6.2 (5600 - 5700xt users), because their Temps are Rising up.
--> update to 21.6.2 = NoGo! in my situation? Or is maybe the older drv version the problem?
R 3600 (OC)
XFX 5700 XT THICC III
Hyperx 32gb/2 (OC)
MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max
BeQuiet 720W supply
I figured out my problem was dried out thermal paste
Changed it and tightened everything bam back to normal
my paste and pads max 8 weeks old
update: it was just the driver......
