First of all english its not my native language so sorry if something is wrong I hope you can understand this all.

Specifically it's happening with World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and it happens like 2-3 times a day.

The entire screen goes black but if im on a discord call or playing a video in youtube that keeps playing even with the black screen (and the people on the discord can hear me as well) but I cant do anything. Tried the CTRL + ALT+ Del thing to see if it does something and it doesn't.

Have you tried ctrl+shift+win+b. This restarts the display driver. Also what hardware are you running? What driver are you using?

Didn't tried thay shortcut. Will do it next time it happens.

This is my hardware:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x

MOBO: MAG B550M Mortar Wifi

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700XT

RAM: 2x8GB 3200mhz

PSU: Cougar VTE 500w 80+ Bronze

Also where can I get my driver info?

Hi!

I've been having this problem for ages. Occurs most frequently in WoW and League of legends. Exact same problem, only fix is don't alt-tab and sometimes restarting drivers with shirt+ctrl+win+B works. I've tried downgrading drivers, reinstalled windows about 5 times and updated bios. You are not alone at least!

Yeah I think it happened once playing League but since i dont play league that often I cant remember if it was this same problem. Thanks for the answer, hope we get a solution here!

What GPU and driver are you using?

22.8.1 and so on for RX 6000 have this issue: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-22-9-2

When it comes to discord / youtube / etc it's a problem with their bad drivers, some people recommend disabling hardware acceleration. Right now I have the AMD software installed as minimal installation instead of full one with nothing enabled, for now I haven't experienced any black screen.

I have RX 6750 XT with 22.5.1 (WHQL).
