Wolfenstein II: The new colossus crashes after updating to 18.3.1

Hey!
Yesterday I've updated drivers for my RX580 8GB to Adrenalin 18.3.1 and today when I started playing Wolfenstein II the game keeps crashing after a while with error "Could not write crash dump". Yes, I realise it is a known issue (many results on Google) but I've been playing this game for about 15 hours and it ran perfectly fine until the update. I tried every suggested method - nothing helps. Anyone having similiar issues?

Hi,

I am also facing same issue.

I think you should roll back to 18.2.1 version.

after you update driver the settings in Wattman revert to defaults. Make sure you have your power limit slider at maximum (all the way to the right). This will likely fix things for you.

I have this game too, but have not tried it since the driver update. I will check it out though this weekend in case this is a new issue. But it sounds just like the issue had in this game and many other with power phasing.

Good Luck & Happy Gaming!

Oh my issue is with R5 M430 switchable graphics with Intel HD 520.

Then also, I believe 18.3.1. is optional update. So I will stick to 18.2.1

Okay I played for about 40 minutes and no crashes. I am on the farmhouse level. I can tell you though that the GPU stayed stuck on 100% after exiting this game.

If your GPU are stuck on 100% try use ClockBlocker.

Sett the program to lock at 100% and then unlock. See if that helps.

Not a good fix, but might help until AMD get their xxxx together.

ClockBlocker Download Version 1.2-6.5
