Windows crashes on installing AMD Radeon 6470M graphics driver
I have a pretty old HP laptop with intel core i5 2nd gen. It has AMD Radeon 6470M as dedicated graphics card and intel hd 3000 as integrated graphics. I fresh-installed windows 7 sp1 (with which the laptop originally came) and then installed intel graphics driver. It was all fine until then, but when I installed the official amd graphics driver as provided by HP for the laptop, the laptop crashed and showed the following error.
I have no idea why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.

Update-1: I have tried using DDU in safe mode then fresh installing the display drivers from the manufacturer's site. I have also tried the same with latest drivers from intel and AMD. I have also tried reinstalling windows. Don't know what to try next before declaring my GPU as dead 😞
