Hi AMD friends,
I wanted to set up my new all day PC but run into this very annoying bug, which I can not clear with googles help:
My Display is connected via HDMI to the integrated GPU of the AMD processor.
If I switch off the Display via the Display Power Key the HDMI Signal does not come back when turning on the Display later: NO HDMI SIGNAL FOUND
This behaviour does not happen if i connect the Display via an HDMI (Display) to DVI-D (Motherboard) cable. In this setup the Display comes back normally. But DVI is not an option because I can not use the full resolution of the Display.
If I remove in the HDMI cable and plug it back in Display comes back.
Same type of bug happens if the Display goes to sleep (power savings) - if i come back to the computer and move the mouse the display turns on just to tell me there is no signal. So the system/display recognised the wake up event, but don't show up.
I already tried these points without solution:
- three different HDMI cables
- doing fresh OS installation without and with AMD Driver Software (Chipset/GPU)
- several BIOS Standby Options
- key combination to restart the graphics driver while signal is lost: WIN + CTRL + SHIFT + B
Specifications of the System:
- AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics
- MSI B450M PRO VDH MAX (mATX)
- ASUS XG32VQ Display
- Windows 10 Pro 22H2 Build 19045.2913
- current AMD Adrenalin Version: 23.4.3 (also serveral older Versions)
