Will there ever be PlayReady 3.0 support for the Radeon VII?

Would love to be able to do 4k Netflix.

I don't think it was ever officially promised. It was brought up in an interview at one time and it is believed the AMD guy misspoke. It has been said however be brought up here in these forums and the Mods have since said that no, it does not and can't from what I understand.

If needed you will have to. It is ridiculous in my opinion it is not supported but apparently the hardware support is just not in the chip.
